Seattle SeaChordsmen Chapter - Giving

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Individual Giving

Financial support from individuals plays a significant role in the SeaChordsmen’s quest to provide a healthy and vibrant future for Barbershop Harmony in the Greater Seattle Area. It also is essential to the chapter’s youth programs that seek to expose youngsters in the community to the wonders of a cappella vocal harmony.

Our mission emphasizes support and encouragement of youth programs and the Seattle SeaChordsmen chapter is a sponsor and major supporter of Harmony Explosion Northwest, the a cappella choral program for young women and men, ages 12-21, held annually at a local university.

Additionally, we perform at numerous civic events in Seattle and throughout King County, from the Bothell Riverfest to the downtown Seattle Figgy Pudding festival.

The following levels of donation are acknowledged on a special page in all performance programs and on our website, www.seachordsmen.org, unless the donor chooses to remain anonyomous.

Planned Giving

Planned giving to your chosen beneficiaries is a way for you to provide for yourself and your loved ones while also yielding significant tax advantages while you are alive and after your death. By giving thoughtful consideration to this matter now, you can be assured that gifts from your estate will reflect your values and desires. MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS

Under a corporate matching gift program, cash gifts, or gifts of volunteer time from a company's eligible employees, are matched with company or corporate foundation funds. Matching gifts are a great way to increase the power of your donation and provide even greater support. It's easy:

Contact the personnel office at your company to check your company’s Matching Gift policy.
If they provide a Matching Gift form, fill it out.
