Although there have been occasional personnel changes, the Washington Squares have been active for more than 20 years, not only on chapter shows but for many other groups as well. Several years ago the quartet visited the office of Mayor Norm Rice to represent all Barbershoppers as the mayor signed a proclamation recognizing April as Harmony Month. Currently, the quartet includes Howard Scheinholz on tenor; Jim Smith, lead; Bud Haynes, bari; and John Devitt, bass.

What's Cookin' is a group of singers that ends each rehearsal with a meal, so it's natural to ask, "what's cookin'?" With tenor Ed Dierdorff , leads Pete Gasparrelli and Tom Parks, baris Mike Cummings and Hiep Tran, and bass Rod Heivilin, it's as much fun to ring a chord as it is to ring the dinner bell.
