Friends & Fans of the SeaChordsmen

Have you ever wanted to be part of a singing group, but hesitated because you thought you couldn't sing? You might be right, but we want you anyway!

This group is for non-singing supporters of the Seattle SeaChordsmen. It takes a lot of effort to produce regular performances, and to conduct community outreach programs that benefit citizens of the Greater Seattle area. It also takes a lot of specialized talents that we simple singers lack. Photographers, recorders, publicity experts, ticket sales...That's where you come in.

People that enjoy Barbershop harmony are invited to join the Friends & Fans of the Seattle SeaChordsmen Group. By doing so, you'll be kept informed of SeaChordsmen events and advised of non-singing needs of the SeaChordsmen in support of these events.

The last Monday rehearsal of each month has been designated "Friends & Fans Night," and the first hour of that rehearsal is a performance for our F&Fs. This is a very important event, because it gives us that most essential element - a live audience for feedback, so we can improve. It also gives us a chance to meet with our supporters to get ideas and help for our perfomances and community outreach efforts. These include Youth in Harmony, and the Harmony Explosion music camp, which provides young singers, male and female, a unique voice training and production experience.
